HELENA, Mont. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced the 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by members of College Sports Communicators. The Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Five Carroll student-athletes have been selected as Academic All-District team members for the 2026 season.
Five Fighting Saints were recognized for their combination of in-game performance and academic achievement throughout the course of the 2026 softball season.
Postseason academic honors continue to roll in, and Carroll College student-athletes continue to be recognized for their outstanding achievements in the classroom. Two seniors and a trio of sophomores were honored on Tuesday with the distinction of CSC Academic All-District, a testament to their hard work and dedication in all aspects of their life. The five Saints are among the top academic and on-field performers in the program, all of which maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or above. All five are Frontier Conference Academic All-Conference selections, NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, and helped the softball team post a 3.51 team GPA this past spring.
Kennedy Venner is a multi-time CSC Academic All-District selection, having recently graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Kathryn Emmert joins Venner with a perfect 4.0 GPA, while the other three selections boast a combined 3.82 GPA.
The CSC Academic All-America® program is one of the highest honors in college sport, recognizing the best of the best across each sport, and separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
