A year ago Chris and Becky Rehor and their partner, David
Hunter, bought the Montana City Grill. Today they want to thank all
of their patrons for the support they've received and remember all
of the new friends they've discovered.
Originally, the partners had no plans to change the already
successful restaurant, but changes have come. The bar has an added
casino area with five new big screen TVs. And the bar itself? Well,
with 19 beers on tap, 4 domestic and 15 micro-brews, if it doesn't
have the most beers on tap in the area, it is well up on the top of
the list. The bar also carries a full liquor license.
What hasn't changed is the great food and impressive selection.
The Montana City Grill is considered by some to be seven
restaurants in one. Customers face the awesome challenge of
deciding among the Seafood Grotto, Prime Rib, Steak and Chops,
Bar-b-Que or Taste of Montana, which explores the experience of elk
and buffalo meats. If your palate is crying for spaghetti or
chicken parmigiana, check out the Italian menu. Vegetarians also
have offerings from their own menu, and a Sweet Shop Dessert menu
finishes off the selection. There's even a banquet room which holds
up to 65 people for larger groups or events.
When asked what he would suggest, Chris chose either a succulent
prime rib or filet mignon partnered with a delicious buttered
lobster tail. The dinner, enjoyed with the scenic views, friendly
staff and the elegant ambiance supplied by numerous candles and
linen cloths, sounds like the makings of a night to remember.
Montana City Grill hours are Monday through Thursday from 5-9
p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 5-10 p.m. Those wishing to
catch a late lunch or early dinner Monday through Saturday can come
to the west bar entrance from 2-5 p.m. Sunday hours are breakfast 8
a.m. to 1 p.m., lunch 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner 2-9 p.m. The
entire establishment is 100 percent smoke-free.
