WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont. – The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and partner Jeffrey Contracting, LLC have completed construction on the West Yellowstone-North project, which focused on improving the road surface and enhancing safety features along several miles of U.S. Highway 191 (US 191), near West Yellowstone.
“As Montana tourism continues to grow, projects like this are essential in improving, maintaining, and preserving a reliable highway system,” said MDT Butte District Administrator Geno Liva. “We really appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation so that we could complete these improvements as quickly as possible.”
