The 56th annual East Helena Valley Northern Rodeo Association Rodeo will be contested July 12-13, at the East Helena Rodeo Arena.

The weekend's action kicks off on Thursday, July 11, with the Lewis & Clark In-County Rodeo, starting at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, East Helena's NRA Rodeo is featuring Tough Enough to Wear Pink night, with the main performance starting at 7 p.m. Saturday's final NRA event will also start at 7 p.m.

The competition concludes on Sunday with the 406 Mini Buckers at 11 a.m., featuring the cowboys of tomorrow riding mini bulls and broncs. Mutton Busters sheep riding takes place all three days, while the kids steer riding contest will be held on Friday and Saturday.

Sunday is also Family Day, with children 10 and under receiving a free hot dog and pop. There will be a Boot Race for all children as well.
