Helena bowler Travers Cox recently fired the season’s first 300 game at Sleeping Giant Lanes.
Competing in the Sunday Nite Out League on the Studs and Muffins team, Cox strung together 12 consecutive strikes for the perfecto. It is the fourth 300 game of his career.
The next best game was Doug Prewett’s 299, leaving the 10-pin on the last ball and finishing with a 760 series.

Other top games at SGL recently include Tom Sroczyk, Rich Newton and Brady Kirkeby with 279s, Bill Hrouda with 288, Jay Gaughan at 286 and George Cotton’s 278.
A few of the top series belonged to Stroczyk with a 759, Trevor Briggeman at 726, Hrouda with a 738 and Brian Tetrault’s 710.
