The No. 6 Carroll College men's basketball team continues to lead the way as the top-ranked team in the Frontier Conference, according to the latest Top 25 coaches’ poll.

Carroll (25-5), a week after defeated two ranked opponents, it clinched a share of the Frontier Conference title and earned the No. 1-seed in the postseason, remained at No. 6 spot.

Montana Western dropped one slot, falling from No. 10 to No. 11 in this week’s poll. The Bulldogs (23-6) shared the regular season conference crown with Carroll, but fell 82-62 to the Saints in the regular season finale.

Lewis-Clark State College (22-8) rose from the No. 19 spot to the No. 18 position. The Warriors went 2-2 since the last poll, fell to Western and Carroll, but defeated Montana Tech and closed out the regular season with a 90-64 win over Rocky Mountain College.

Save one poll, Carroll, Western and Lewis-Clark State college have appeared in every Top 25 poll this season.

One more poll is conducted after conference tournaments are completed.
