WHITEFISH – Sean Benson of Montana Tech and Marissa Louder of Lewis-Clark State have been named the Frontier Conference's golfers of the week.

Benson won medalist honors at the 2019 Frontier Conference Championship Tournament at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix with a three-round score of a 4-under-par 212. The senior from Billings earned an automatic bid to the 64th Annual Men's Golf National Championship on May 21-24 at Las Sendas Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. He is the first Oredigger to claim medalist honors at the Frontier tournament.

Lewis-Clark State's Louder capped off her stellar career in dramatic fashion with an extra-hole victory in the Frontier Conference Championship Tournament in Phoenix. The senior from Fillmore, Utah, was trailing by one stroke heading into the final round, but caught Rocky Mountain's Eryn Ellis to tie and force a playoff after regulation. She receives an automatic berth to the 25th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championships held at the Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City on May 14-17.
