The Carroll College volleyball team stormed into the Top 25 in the first Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll released by the association Tuesday.

The Saints (11-2) went from unranked in the preseason poll to the No. 16 spot after topping ranked teams Concordia, Vanguard and Biola. Carroll's most impressive week of play was just last week when they went 4-0 in California.

The Saints also split with Corban, which made it at No. 25 in the poll. The only other loss on the season came at the hands of No. 6 Eastern Oregon.

The Saints aren't the only Frontier Conference team to make the jump into the poll. Montana Tech came in at No. 22. Rocky Mountain, which was ranked No. 15 in the preseason poll, fell from the rankings.

Carroll plays at 5 p.m. Friday at the University of Great Falls in a nonconference match against No. 23 Jamestown. It will be the final non-conference match of the season for Carroll.
