GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The Helena Brewers started their seven-game road trip with a 19-4 Pioneer League loss to Grand Junction on Thursday night.

The Grand Junction Rockies took control of the game with a six-run third inning. They also scored two runs in the first, fourth and fifth innings.

Helena pitchers allowed seven walks and 12 hits. The Brewers also committed four errors.

Leugim Castillo and David Fry had three hits each for the Brewers. Je'Von Ward and Pablo Abreu drove in three runs each.
