Fire season is probably the last thing on our minds with freezing temperatures and feet of snow surrounding us. However, it is important to remember the warm weather will return and fire season along with it. Last year, suppressing fires costs over 400 million dollars in Montana. Your help is needed. In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, think about how you can make a difference in your community. MLK once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, 'what are you doing for others?'” Make a difference and help your community by volunteering at your local fire department!
