Trapping in Montana is a hobby. It is a hobby that is undeniably cruel and causes much suffering to the victims, has a lot of non-target victims, including peoples’ pets. Now there is a bill (HB 279) which would reimburse people for engaging in their hobby?
No. Please vote no on HB 279.
Please vote yes on HB 287, which requires a mandatory 24 hour check on trapped animals. Let’s at least minimize the pain and suffering animals go through while trapped.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Please contact representatives, now, especially, the representatives on the House Fish, Wildlife and Parks Committee. Call and simply insist they vote yes for HB 287.
Leave a message if they do not answer, urging them to vote yes on trap check bill Bill HB 287 with your name and Montana town.
