I would like to thank the ACLU and Montana Racial Equity Project for getting the city of Helena to disrupt the SRO discussion process and ensure those wanting to defund the police are given the majority voice. It tells my fellow racial justice advocates that even if the vast majority of Helena wants to keep the SRO funding, the minority can become the greater voice and achieve racial justice, equity and equality for all no matter what Helena citizens want. Thanks again.
