The upcoming Congressional election presents two distinct visions of Montana’s future. On one hand we are presented with a plan to sell off public lands, limit public access to our land and water and grant governmental access to the wealthy and well connected. This is the incumbent’s vision of his mission in Washington.
On the other hand we have a vision of protecting our public lands, ensuring our rights to our public land and waters, and a promise to represent all Montanans’ interests in Washington. That is the vision of candidate John Heenan. John’s history as a trial lawyer fighting against large corporations for ordinary citizens shows that this vision is genuine. His courtroom experience promises to bring a measured combination of advocacy and compromise that is sorely needed in Washington.
I have known John personally for several years and can attest to his candor, his abilities and his knowledge of the law. I am supporting John Heenan in the upcoming primary election and urge you to vote along with me in the interest of the 99 percent of Montanans.
