Spring is here and most people are gearing up for a great, though short, summer. They get their recreation vehicles, boats on trailers, campers, rafts, etc., out and park them on the street near their home in anticipation of taking them out and enjoying the warm weather should it happen to happen next weekend. Problem is, they must not be aware there exists a city ordinance 8-11-1 that states a vehicle that is not moved in 72 hours can be classified as abandoned and ticketed by police, resulting in a fine. Also, these people are causing the neighborhood to look like a storage lot instead of a nice, well maintained residential area. Conscientious neighbors have poured cement slabs next to their driveways to keep recreational items handy should that rare perfect weekend in Montana come along. Please be one of those nice neighbors.
