Weird, I thought it was Jesus who violated social distancing and quarantine rules set forth by the Levites to reach out and touch the leper, who was also mandated by the Levites to "cover his upper lip".
Who is this Jesus fella? Is he running the CDC?
He's this fictional character in a well-known Book of Mythology. You now, just like Harry Potter.
It also makes me sick of how many websites carry these Ungodly mask advertisements.
FYI Mankind is the beast and stop looking for a one-man thing to come to power that's already happened with this collective all as one thinking 7 heads 7 continents the water as it does say is peoples nations and tongues is the political arena and means us or those to support their collective beasts in their countries IE: Obama Trump, Merkle, Putin, etc..
Their all beasts and its mark is our obedience to it as in these darned mask mandates. If not it's a precursor to and they still show your allegiance to man or God.
Hahaha!!! It was crazy enough when masks became political but now they are a religious issue? Hahaha!!!
If you saying Jesus told you to do this you're a false prophet and a liar.
Jesus would have never said that and he would have never worn one. It shows your allegiance to the beast/ mand Govt. Romans 13 never said to obey Govt, and Paul who was killed by Govt would have never said to obey it. Early Christians who went to their deaths for not obeying Govt would never say that.
Romans 13 said to obey the Higher liberty, not power.
The word Power in Romans 13 was translated from the Greek word Exousia and it means liberty, not power. Masks are bondage not liberty and show you worship man more than God. Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Csa, who cares what translation say what? It’s still just a book of mythology and fairy tales.
It would be wise to understand and respect the different roles of religion, science and politics. The ethical principle of helping others needs to be informed by sound knowledge and, when appropriate, fueled through public policies.
Science continues on whether it is believed in or not. Religion has to be shoved down peoples’ throat to continue its existence.
I like this article a lot. If Jesus reappeared in the US tomorrow, as pretty much the same character described in the Bible, he would be ignored at best, ostracized and belittled, and kicked to the side by quite a few self proclaimed "Christians".
I agree with everything in your comment except the first sentence. You're absolutely right, that if Jesus reappeared today he would likely be "ostracized, belittled, and kicked to the side by quite a few self proclaimed Christians." Doesn't that sound a lot like the way a certain group of people are being treated right now? Say, maybe those that see this Virus and all that it encompasses for what it really is? Those that refuse to accept a mandate to wear a mask, when there is no evidence that proves it's efficacy, and mounting evidence to the contrary. Those that refuse to bend the knee to tyranny, no matter the reason? Hmmmmm..... just a thought.
What a horrible, horrible piece of propaganda! The author should be ashamed of himself for trying to work his opinions and point of view about such a polarizing topic into the works and teachings of Jesus. This article is a great example of why many in the world have hardened their hearts to the Gospel and are so turned off by American Christianity. Because it uses the scripture (or should I say changes scripture) to deliver a socieo-political agenda. Something that has been done countlessly throughout history, much to the chagrin of the same Jesus that taught those same (real) parables of which the author speaks.[angry]
Exactly Brandi. This is a perfect example of how the church has been infiltrated by people who wish to subvert the word of God.
"Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, 'Do not go beyond what is written.' Then you will not be puffed up in being a follower of one of us over against the other." 1 Corinthians 4:6
"Do not go beyond what is written." Paul specifically provides an example and a clear statement of sola scriptura, or to not go beyond the written word of God. In this verse, the believers in Corinth are using their own preferences and opinions above the word of God. Paul specifically warns them to not presume to go outside what the Scriptures say.
The author in his own words is attempting to use the word of God to push his own preferences and opinion. He is going against the word of God. In the name of the Most High God, the Supreme Architect and Judge and his Son the Lord Jesus Christ, I rebuke you Stephen Brehe. You are not teaching the true word of God!
Maybe you need to read Matthew 7:1-3 -
Russell is a cherry-picker Christian.
No, many have “hardened their hearts to the Gospel” because the have seen them used to justify hate, violence, and numerous atrocities and realized that it’s a book of fairy tales.
