An 18-year-old Helena man is accused of raping a highly intoxicated woman.
Blake Riley McHugh is charged with sexual intercourse without consent, a felony with a possible punishment of life in prison if found guilty.
On Saturday, a Helena Police officer responded to St. Peter's Health in regards to a sexual assault investigation. The officer interviewed the victim. The victim said she had been raped earlier in the morning while she was extremely intoxicated, and said McHugh was the person who had raped her.

The officer interviewed McHugh, who originally denied having sex with the victim. McHugh later admitted to having sexual intercourse and acknowledged the woman was unable to give full consent.
McHugh was arrested and taken into custody at the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
All charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
