A 20-year-old Helena man wanted for walking away from a pre-release center was accused of meth possession.
Jibrieel Burhan Mallak is charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
On July 9, Lewis and Clark County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mallak on a warrant for his escape from the Helena Pre-Release Center, and he was transported to the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
At the jail, Mallak was searched and a baggie of meth was discovered in his front pocket, according to court documents.
All charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
