- At 4:17 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a business in the 1700 block of Cedar Street for a report of a burglary alarm. Upon the officer’s arrival, they located a female who advised officers she had been assaulted by a male. The female indicated she knew who the male was and he had left prior to officers’ arrival. She also advised she did not have a phone so she set the alarm off at the business in hopes of getting a police response to the alarm. The male was located a short time later not far from the business. Investigation into the matter led to a 58-year-old male being placed under arrest for robbery and possession of dangerous drugs. He was booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
- At 1:32 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Hudson Street for a report of a disturbance. Investigation into the disturbance led to a 23-year-old male being placed under arrest for violation of a no contact order. He was booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.

The Helena Police Department responded to 114 calls for service including: nine non-injury accidents, nine animal calls, two assaults, two disorderly or disturbance calls, eight suspicious incidents, two thefts and eight welfare checks.
As of Wednesday morning, the county jail held 105 inmates (98 for felonies and 7 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 117 inmates at various detention facilities. There are 81 clients serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 48 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 24 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), four are on GPS and five are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 332 clients.
