  • At 7:03 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of N. Montana in reference to a trespass/theft complaint. Investigation led to a 59-year-old male being cited for trespassing and obstructing a peace officer. He was referred to Municipal Court.
  • At 10:05 a.m., an officer arrested a 51-year-old male for warrants. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 1:26 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 30 Block of Starbuck Court for a family disturbance. The investigation led to a 45-year-old female being arrested for probation violation. She was booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 3:55 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the area of 400 Block of Fuller for a warrant service. A 20-year-old female was arrested for a warrant and booked into the LCSO jail.

The Helena Police Department responded to 117 calls for service including three non-injury crashes, nine animal calls, four disorderly/disturbance calls, nine suspicious incidents, four trespassing calls, four thefts and seven welfare checks.

As of Wednesday morning, the county jail held 111 inmates (99 for felonies and 12 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 124 inmates at various detention facilities. Eighty-one clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 51 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 15 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), seven are on GPS and eight are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 346 clients.
