- At 4:49 p.m., an officer was called to investigate suspicious and threatening telephone text messages. During the investigation, officers arrested a 22-year-old Helena male on an outstanding warrant and for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
- At 9:40 p.m., an officer was called to investigate an assault that occurred in the 2400 block of East Broadway Street. The officer cited a 16-year-old Helena male for misdemeanor assault and released him to a guardian.
- At 5:46 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Troy Court concerning a possible assault in progress. After investigation, officers cited a 13-year-old Helena male for partner or family member assault. He was cited and released to a guardian.
On June 4, Helena Police officers responded to 69 calls for service, including three non-injury traffic crashes, two reported burglaries and two thefts. Officers also made 16 vehicle stops for various traffic offenses.
As of Wednesday morning, the county jail held 86 inmates (81 for felonies and five for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 95 inmates at various detention facilities. There are 98 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 52 are on Personal Breath Test, 31 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, four are on GPS, and 11 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 301 clients.
