  • At 12:10 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Last Chance Gulch for a report of a physical altercation. The officers met with all parties involved and the case is active.
  • At 12:58 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Dunbar for a report of a disturbance. The suspect left prior to officers’ arrival but then returned. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 57-year-old male was placed under arrest for first offense partner family member assault and first offense DUI.
  • At 3:07 a.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Euclid for a report of a family disturbance. The officers met with all parties involved and the case is inactive.
  • At 8:24 a.m., an officer responded to the 300 block of Davis for a report of an assault. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 32-year-old male was placed under arrest for assault with a weapon and for failing to register as a violent offender.
  • At 9:15 a.m., an officer responded to the 2800 block of Mercer Loop for a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 1:39 p.m., an officer responded to the 600 block of Broadway for a report of a possible physical altercation. At the conclusion of the investigation, a juvenile male was cited for first offense partner or family member assault and released to a guardian.
  • At 2:02 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Colonial for a report of a theft. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 2:59 p.m., an officer responded to the 900 block of Euclid for a report of someone attempting to cash a check that did not belong to them. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 3:12 p.m., an officer responded to the 3100 block of Prospect for a report of a theft. The case is active.

  • At 6:30 p.m., an officer responded to the 1700 block of Ohio for a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was later located.

In the last 24 hours officers responded to 61 calls which included four accidents, four domestic or family disturbances, four welfare checks, three fraud calls and seven suspicious circumstances calls.

As of Wednesday morning, the county jail held 108 inmates (96 for felonies and 12 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 131 inmates at various detention facilities. One-hundred-eleven clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 48 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 45 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), 12 are on GPS, and six are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 269 clients.
