Helena Police Department incidents reported Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019

  • At 11:43 p.m., an officer arrested a 19-year-old Helena male on two outstanding warrants in the 1900 block of Prospect Avenue. He was booked at the detention center.
  • At 4:16 p.m., an officer cited a 30-year-old Helena female for misdemeanor theft at a business in the 3300 block of North Montana. The female attempted leaving the store with unpaid merchandise. She was cited and released.
  • At 10:15 p.m., officers were called to the 3200 block of North Sanders to a possible vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. Officers determined the pedestrian had not been struck by a vehicle, however had been drug by the vehicle a short distance during an assault and disturbance. Officers arrested a 29-year-old East Helena male for second offense partner or family member assault and criminal mischief for damaging the victim’s vehicle. He was booked at the detention center.

On Sept. 16, Helena Police Department officers responded to 109 calls for service including eight traffic crashes, two reported assaults, five disorderly conducts or disturbances, and four thefts.
