  • At 10:55 a.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of Valley Drive for a report of minor in possession of tobacco. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 15-year-old juvenile male was cited for possession of dangerous drugs and released to a guardian.

The Helena Police Department responded to 139 calls for service including five non-injury crashes, nine animal calls, 18 suspicious incidents, six thefts, four disorderly calls and nine welfare checks.

As of Tuesday morning, the county jail held 108 inmates (102 for felonies and six for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 120 inmates at various detention facilities. Eighty-three clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 45 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 20 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), seven are on GPS and 11 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 340 clients.
