- At 12:48 p.m., an officer met with a complainant at the Law and Justice Center. The complainant was reporting an alleged assault that occurred in the 1900 block of Lamborn.
- At 1:16 p.m., officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance that occurred in the 800 block of Oregon.
- At 7:10 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Joslyn for a welfare check. At the conclusion of the incident, a 49-year-old male from Helena was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
- At 8:04 p.m., an officer responded to a shoplifting in the 2700 block of Prospect.
On March 4, 2019, the Helena Police Department received 66 calls for service including 12 vehicle crashes, four animal control calls, 12 citizen assists, eight disturbances, five suspicious circumstances and four welfare checks.
As of Tuesday morning, the county jail held 93 inmates (83 for felonies and 10 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 116 inmates at various detention facilities. One-hundred-one clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 56 are on Personal Breath Test, 30 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, eight are on GPS and seven are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 280 clients.
