- At 9:23 a.m., officers were called to the 800 block of North Oregon Street concerning a possible theft. During the investigation, officers located a 32-year-old Helena male with an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Officers arrested the male on the warrant, in addition to criminal possession of dangerous drugs, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence (for destroying evidence of the drug possession). Officers also located and arrested a 33-year-old Helena female on an outstanding warrant, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer (for providing a false name to the officer). Both were booked at the detention center.
- At 2:16 p.m., a detective arrested a 62-year-old Helena male at the detention center on a Municipal Court warrant. He was booked on the additional charge.
- At 4:57 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Logan Street concerning a disturbance. Officers cited a 29-year-old Helena male for disorderly conduct; he was cited and released. Officers also arrested a 40-year-old Helena female on an outstanding out-of-county warrant, and disorderly conduct. She was booked at the detention center.
As of Tuesday morning, the county jail held 89 inmates (81 for felonies and eight for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 100 inmates at various detention facilities. There are 98 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 50 are on Personal Breath Test, 33 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, four are on GPS, and 11 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 301 clients.
