  • At 11:41 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of Billings Avenue for a report of a juvenile in possession of drug paraphernalia. Investigation into the matter led to a 15-year-old juvenile being issued a citation for misdemeanor possession of dangerous drugs (marijuana) and a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was referred to juvenile probation.
  • At 1:56 p.m., an officer took a report of a theft from a business located in the 2700 block of Prospect Avenue.
  • At 2:22 p.m., an officer took a report of a possible protection order violation that occurred in the 400 block of South Oakes Street. Investigation into the matter led to no charges being filed at this time.
  • At 4:34 p.m., an officer took a report of a lost wallet from the 1200 block of Hollins Avenue.
  • At 6:38 p.m., an officer took a report of a theft from a business located in the 3100 block of N. Montana Avenue. There is suspect information and this case is active.
  • At 8:14 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation in the area of Lyndale Avenue and Cooke Street. Investigation into the traffic stop led to a 50-year-old male being placed under arrest for two valid arrest warrants. He was booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
  • At 9:13 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 2400 block of Broadway Street for a report of a disorderly male in this area. The officer located the male and placed the 23-year-old male under arrest for a valid Municipal Court warrant. He was booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.

  • At 11:45 p.m., an officer was in a business located in the 1100 block of Custer Avenue finishing up with another call for service. While in that business, the officer located a male that had warrants for his arrest. Subsequently an 18-year-old male was placed under arrest for two valid arrest warrants. He was booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.

  • At 8 a.m., an officer took a report of an assault that occurred in the 500 block of Logan Street. This case is active.

As of Thursday morning, the county jail held 96 inmates (90 for felonies and six for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 109 inmates at various detention facilities. One-hundred-one clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 56 are on Personal Breath Test, 32 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, six are on GPS and seven are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 287 clients.
