  • At 1 a.m., an officer responded to the 300 block of Euclid for a report of a theft. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 19-year-old male was cited for theft and underage possession of alcohol. A 26-year-old male was cited for driving while suspended, no insurance and expired registration.
  • At 10:05 a.m., an officer responded to the 1000 block of Helena for a report of a male making threats. The case is active.
  • At 12:49 p.m., an officer responded to the 400 block of Last Chance for a report of a theft. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 39-year-old female was cited for theft and for obstructing a police officer.
  • At 1:30 p.m., an officer responded to the Law Enforcement Center for a report of a trespass to and a theft from a motor vehicle. The case is active.
  • At 3:55 p.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of Last Chance for a report of a theft. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 39-year-old female was placed under arrest for theft.
  • At 4:27 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Prospect for a report of two thefts that had occurred earlier. There is suspect information and the cases are active.
  • At 3:56 p.m., an officer responded to the 3100 block of Washington for a report of a male making threats. The officer met with all parties involved and the case is active.

  • At 8:45 p.m., an officer responded to the 900 block of 12th for a report of a possible violation of a protection order. The case is active.

In the last 24 hours, officers responded to 71 calls for service, including six thefts, seven disorderly conduct, seven suspicious circumstances, seven accidents and three welfare checks.

As of Thursday morning, the county jail held 105 inmates (95 for felonies and 10 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 128 inmates at various detention facilities. One-hundred-eleven clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 48 are on Personal Breath Test, 45 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, 12 are on GPS and six are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 269 clients.
