  • At 12:58 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Park Avenue and Placer Street. The male driver demonstrated sign of impairment and was tested for DUI. At the conclusion of the investigation, the 60-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 1:35 a.m., an officer made contact with a male on the walking mall. The male was identified and it was verified he had two valid warrants for his arrest. The 25-year-old Helena man was arrested for the warrants and booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 10:52 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the 3300 block of North Montana Avenue for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. It was reported the vehicle was keyed. The case is active.
  • At 12:26 p.m., an officer responded to the 1700 block of North Benton Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle theft. It was reported a white 2019 Toyota Tacoma was stolen from the area. Further information was received that the plates on the vehicle were likely changed. The case is active.
  • At 12:37 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 3100 block of Queen Anns Street for a report of a theft of a wallet.
  • At 1:23 p.m., an officer responded to the Mt. Helena parking lot for a report of criminal mischief to and a theft from a motor vehicle. It was reported a window was broken and property from the vehicle was stolen.
  • At 2:33 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 3100 block of North Montana Avenue for a report of a cold shoplift. Video surveillance was captured and the case is active.
  • At 3:30 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 600 block of South California Street to assist Child Protective Services.
  • At 3:36 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Prospect Avenue for a report of a lost wallet.
  • At 3:38 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Blake Street for a report of stolen license plates.
  • At 4:48 p.m., an officer responded to the 1200 block of North Montana Avenue for a report of a stolen bicycle.
  • At 11:59 p.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of North Montana Avenue for a report of a disorderly male. When the officer arrived, it was discovered the male needed medical attention.
