- At 1:34 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop near in a private lot at the 300 block of North Warren Street. When the vehicle pulled into a lot, the driver struck a fence and high-centered the car. When the officer made contact with the driver, he demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI. At the conclusion of the investigation, the 28-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI and a red light violation. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
- At 12:02 p.m., an officer was at a business at the 1000 block of Helena Avenue for an unrelated matter. He made contact with a 34-year-old Helena woman and found that she had two valid warrants for her arrest. The woman was arrested and booked into the LCSO jail.
- At 4:24 p.m., an officer was traveling on Henderson Street near the intersection of Waukesha Avenue and came upon a vehicle that had crashed into a power pole. The vehicle then drove to an address on Waukesha Avenue with the officer following. When the officer made contact with the male driver, he demonstrated signs of impairment and was tested for DUI. At the conclusion of the investigation, the 57-year-old Helena man was arrested for DUI, aggravated DUI and careless driving. He was booked into the LCSO jail.

The Helena Police Department responded to 101 calls for service on Friday. Of those calls, they responded to seven vehicle crashes, two theft calls, six welfare checks, eight suspicious circumstance calls and conducted 25 traffic stops.
