  • At 11:03 a.m., an officer responded to the 2000 block of Livingston Avenue for a reported family disturbance.
  • At 11:58 a.m., an officer responded to a reported theft of services in the 1700 block of Hannaford Street.
  • At 12:58 p.m., an officer investigated the unlawful use of a computer in the 1200 block of Bozeman Avenue.
  • At 1:57 p.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of Highway 12 East for a reported domestic disturbance.
  • At 2:08 p.m., an officer responded to the 900 block of Logan Street for a reported burglary to a garage.
  • At 2:13 p.m., an officer received a report of the theft of packages from the 3700 block of Travertine Way.
  • At 2:16 p.m., an officer responded to a reported criminal mischief to a camper in the 1800 block of Joslyn Street.
  • At 3:28 p.m., an officer investigated a phone scam where a caller claimed to work for Apple and requested the victim's personal information, which was provided. The suspect then used the victims personal account to make unauthorized purchases.
  • At 4:32 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Prospect Avenue for a reported shoplifting. At the conclusion of the incident, a 28-year-old Helena man was cited for theft and released.
  • At 6:19 p.m., an officer took a report of a stolen vehicle in 1200 block of Birch Street. The owner of the vehicle started his vehicle to warm it up, and while he was inside the suspect stole it. The vehicle is described as a 2001 black GMC Yukon.

The Helena Police Department received 76 calls for service on Friday, including nine vehicle crashes, nine disturbances, six suspicious circumstances and nine thefts.

As of Saturday morning, the county jail held 95 inmates (83 for felonies and 12 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 124 inmates at various detention facilities. There are 106 clients serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 45 are on Personal Breath Test, 41 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, 14 are on GPS and six are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 281 clients.
