  • At 5:33 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Prospect Avenue after a report of a subject trespassing at that location. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 31-year-old female was placed under arrest for theft and an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The female was booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
  • At 7:34 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Prospect Avenue for a reported theft. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 21-year-old female was cited and released for theft.
  • At 8:33 p.m., officers investigated a report of a domestic disturbance on the 2100 block of Billings Avenue. One of the involved individuals was leaving in a vehicle when officers arrived on scene. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 45-year-old female was placed under arrest for partner/family member assault, first offense DUI and three outstanding arrest warrants. The female was booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
  • At 8:55 p.m., officers were sent to the 500 block of Park Avenue regarding a verbal argument between two subjects. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 27-year-old female was placed under arrest for two Great Falls Municipal Court warrants. A 27-year-old male was also arrested for one Butte Silver Bow County Justice Court warrant. Both subjects were booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
  • At 11:35 p.m., officers were sent to the 2400 block of E Broadway Street regarding a domestic disturbance. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 27-year-old female was placed under arrest for partner/family member assault and two counts of violating a no contact order. The female was booked into the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.

The Helena Police Department responded to 64 calls for service including three non-injury crashes, three animal calls, six suspicious incidents, five thefts, five disorderly calls, one stolen vehicle and five welfare checks.

As of Monday morning, the county jail held 115 inmates (100 for felonies and 15 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 127 inmates at various detention facilities. Eighty-three clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 45 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 20 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), seven are on GPS and 11 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 340 clients.
