- At 9:51 a.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of North Last Chance Gulch for a report of a male breaking into a vehicle. At the conclusion of the incident, a 66-year-old Helena man was arrested for several outstanding arrest warrants.
- At 4:22 p.m., an officer investigated a theft that occurred in the 2600 block of North Montana Avenue. At the conclusion of the incident, a 54-year-old Helena man was cited for theft and released.
The Helena Police Department received 59 calls for service on Sunday, including seven vehicle crashes, three animal control calls, seven citizen assists, four alarms, 10 sexual/violent offender residence checks, four trespassing calls and five welfare checks.
As of Monday morning, the county jail held 93 inmates (82 for felonies and 11 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 116 inmates at various detention facilities. There are 101 clients serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 56 are on Personal Breath Test, 30 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, eight are on GPS and seven are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 288 clients.
