  • At 1:58 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Broadway and Warren Street. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 21-year-old man was placed under arrest for DUI (first offense), aggravated DUI and careless driving.
  • At 9:32 a.m., an officer responded to the 200 block of Placer Avenue for a report of a possible disturbance. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 42-year-old woman was placed under arrest for partner or family member assault (second offense), criminal mischief and violation of a no contact order.
  • At 11:16 a.m., an officer responded to the 600 block of Fee Street for a report of a theft that had occurred earlier. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 2:44 p.m., an officer responded to the 400 block of Last Chance Gulch for a report of a theft that had occurred the previous day. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 3:06 p.m., an officer responded to the 1500 block of Wilder Avenue for a report of a possible assault. The officer spoke with all parties involved and the case is active.
  • At 5:03 p.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of Humbolt Loop for a report of a fraud involving a credit card. The case is active.
  • At 7:38 p.m., an officer responded to the 2400 block of Broadway for a report of a possible assault that had occurred earlier. There is suspect information and the case is active.

Officers responded to 83 calls for service on Sunday, which included three theft/frauds, 11 suspicious circumstances, two assaults and six disorderly conduct calls.

As of Monday morning, the county jail held 110 inmates (95 for felonies and 15 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 131 inmates at various detention facilities. There are 122 clients serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 74 are on Personal Breath Test, 32 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, four are on GPS and 12 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 292 clients.
