  • At 10:55 a.m., an officer responded to the 1800 block of Prospect for a report of a male who had a warrant for his arrest. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 35-year-old male was placed under arrest for a probation warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of imitation dangerous drugs with the intent to distribute.
  • At  11:19 a.m., an officer responded to the 1600 block of Lyndale for a report of an individual trespassing. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 30-year-old male was cited for trespass to property and released.
  • At  12:39 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Prospect for a report of a theft. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 38-year-old male was cited for theft and released.
  • At  4:10 p.m., an officer responded to Washington and Custer for a report of a theft. At the conclusion of the investigation, an 18-year-old female was cited for theft and released.
  • At  4:37 p.m, an officer responded to the 900 block of Carousel Way for a report of a male trespassing. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 33-year-old male was placed under arrest for a Municipal Court warrant.
  • At  9:53 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Prospect and Harris. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 33-year-old male was placed under arrest for a warrant and possession of dangerous drugs. A 20-year-old female passenger was cited for possession of dangerous drugs and released.
  • At  10:29 p.m., an officer responded to the 200 block of Custer for a report of a possible assault. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 17-year-old juvenile was transported to juvenile detention for an assault with a weapon and partner family member assault.

In the last 24 hours, officers responded to 141 calls for service which included 9 accidents, 4 disorderly/disturbances, 4 family disturbances/domestic, 9 suspicious, 8 thefts, and 10 welfare checks.

As of Friday morning, the county jail held 111 inmates (104 for felonies and 7 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 122 inmates at various detention facilities. 79 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 44 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 23 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), 4 are on GPS, and 8 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 321 clients.
