  • At 11:35 a.m. officers arrested a 36-year-old Helena female in the 200 block of East Sixth Avenue on an outstanding warrant. She was booked at the detention center.
  • At 12:31 p.m. officers arrested a 29-year-old Helena male on two outstanding warrants in the 2100 block of Custer Avenue. He was booked at the detention center.
  • At 3:09 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 2000 block of Missoula Avenue. After investigation, officers arrested a 32-year-old Helena male for Partner or Family Member Assault. He was booked at the detention center.
  • At 3:43 p.m. an officer arrested a 25-year-old Helena female at the state probation and parole offices on North Rodney for two outstanding warrants. She was booked at the detention center.

On Oct. 17, Helena PD officers responded to 91 calls for service including 3 traffic crashes, 3 animal control-related incidents, 3 assaults, 8 thefts/burglaries and stopped 16 motorists for various traffic offenses.

As of Friday morning, the county jail held 106 inmates (98 for felonies and 8 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 117 inmates at various detention facilities. 89 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 55 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 18 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), 7 are on GPS, and 9 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 354 clients.
