At 12:19 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near Park Avenue and Clarke Street. The officer arrested the driver of the vehicle, a 33-year-old East Helena male for 1st offense Driving Under the Influence and a moving traffic violation. He was booked at the detention center.
At 2:38 a.m., officers arrested a 38-year-old Helena female in the 2900 block of North Montana as an absconder from probation/parole supervision. She was booked at the detention center.

At 1:54 a.m., officers arrested a 23-year-old Helena male in the 1800 block of Waukesha on an outstanding warrant from a theft investigation from March 2019. He was booked at the detention center.
On Nov. 28, HPD officers responded to 47 calls for service including 4 traffic crashes, 2 animal control-related incidents and 2 thefts.
As of Friday morning, the county jail held 99 inmates (91 for felonies and 8 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 110 inmates at various detention facilities. 85 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 57 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 15 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), 9 are on GPS, and 4 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 368 clients.
