- At 1:55 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Wilder and Benton. The officer conducted a DUI investigation and a 31-year-old male was arrested for DUI (1st offense), aggravated DUI (1st offense), and making an improper turn. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
- At 1:20 p.m., an officer took a report of a juvenile that was in possession of a tobacco vape device. Investigation into the matter led to a 15-year-old juvenile male being issued a citation for MIP tobacco. He was referred to Municipal Court.
- At 7:27 p.m., an officer was dispatched to residence on the 1500 Block of Waukesha for a domestic disturbance. Subsequent investigation resulted in a 22-year-old male being arrested for strangulation of a partner of family member (felony), and Partner Family Member Assault (1st) He was booked into the LCSO Jail.

The Helena Police Department responded to 83 calls for service. A brief summary of some of the calls the officers responded to are as follows: (4) non-injury crashes, (7) animal calls, (3) Disorderly/Disturbance calls, (2) domestic disturbance, (5) suspicious incidents, (3) thefts, (1) trespasses to property and conducted (5) welfare checks.
As of Friday morning, the county jail held 113 inmates (98 for felonies and 15 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 126 inmates at various detention facilities. 78 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 48 are on PBT (Personal Breath Test), 14 are on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet), 7 are on GPS, and 9 are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 341 clients.
