UPDATE: Benjamin Lee Rose III was sentenced to 25 years in Montana State Prison without possibility of parole with another 75 years suspended for two counts of sexual intercourse without consent. Rose also was sentenced to twenty-five years in Montana State Prison with 21 of those years suspended for his felony sexual assault conviction. Rose must complete phases one and two of sex offender treatment before becoming eligible for parole. Rose must also pay over $1500 in restitution. The sentences will run concurrently.
A Helena man has been convicted of two counts of sexual intercourse without consent and one count of sexual assault.
A Helena jury found Benjamin Lee Rose III guilty after more than eight hours of deliberation this week.

Rose was accused in 2017 of sexually molesting a girl under age 12 multiple times, and molesting a girl when she was younger than 14.
He could face over 200 years in prison at sentencing, with a mandatory minimum of 25 years in prison.
