A 20-year-old Helena woman is accused of having heroin.
Madison Jennifer Bryant is charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
On July 22, a Helena police officer responded to a call about a woman locked inside a bathroom using drugs. The officer found Bryant attempting to leave with a purse. The woman's parents then found a syringe filled with heroin in Bryant's purse, according to court documents.
Bryant was arrested on July 23 and taken into custody at the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center.
All charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
