Two water main breaks damage homes in Helena

Traffic, road work

City of Hamilton Public Works Department is doing road construction on Fairgrounds Road and Ravalli Street beginning Tuesday, June 16.

Two water main breaks damaged multiple houses in Helena Wednesday.

City manager Ana Cortez said via e-mail that the two breaks happened on the 600 block of Graham Street and the intersection at Glendale and Choteau.

Cortez wrote the Graham Street break was caused by pipe corrosion and three homes were affected, but no information was known about the cause or extent of the break on Glendale and Choteau.

Homeowners have and are still able to file claims with the city's Finance Department.
