The 48th season of the Helena Farmers' Market kicked off Saturday on Fuller Avenue in downtown Helena. The event will be held each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. While event organizers are no longer required to implement a COVID-19 safety plan approved by Lewis and Clark Public Health, they said they are working with local health officials on a contingency plan. Last year's market was canceled after organizers were unable to produce a public health safety plan that could appease vendors and the county health department.
