Pet of the week: Taro

Join Taro at Gentle Healing Wellness Center, 513 Saddle Drive, today at 11 a.m. for some cat yoga.

Alright everyone, my name is Taro -- you may not know me. I have been in the Cat Room for two  months and people don’t seem to notice me. It’s probably because I’m just a teensy, tiny bit lazy… OK, OK I’m a very lazy dude. What can I say? I am more of a Netflix dude than a mouser. But that ends today!

At 7 years old I thought I couldn’t try new things, but I guess I’m going to give it a whirl. I am taking my chubby, handsome self all the way to Gentle Healing Wellness Center, where I will be joining some lovely people for cat yoga.

I’m not entirely sure what kind of yoga I will be doing, but if it helps me get adopted I am all for it. I hear  humans are invited to join me on my yoga adventure, so I am counting on seeing all of you lovely ladies (and gentleman). I need you to cheer me on as I attempt to actually get up and get moving. Hopefully one of you will just fall so deeply and madly in love with me you will take me home.

Staff says I’m such an easy dude to get along with, I like a calm environment for sure. I like to think of other animals more as roommates than best friends, so if your current animals understand that, we will get along just great. I really love people though, and I am hoping someone will have an empty spot on their couch because I am sure going to be tired after yoga.

Don’t forget come visit me and maybe some other cats at Gentle Healing Wellness Center, 513 Saddle Drive, on today, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m. You will not want to miss this handsome chunk attempt a downward dog!
