Anita McNamee passed away on October 13, 2018 in Lakewood, Colorado.
She was the beloved matriarch of our five generation Family.
Anita was born July 18, 1924 in New Lisbon, Wisconsin, and lived on nearby farms in her youth. Her cats liked to watch her read books outdoors.
She enjoyed domestic and foreign travel, family gatherings, games, reading, television movies and shows, picture albums and family movies, and watching the Colorado Rockies on TV. She was an animal lover, especially cats and moose.
Besides being an awesome Mom, she started her work life as a cord and plug telephone operator and retired from her work as an executive secretary in our father's branch office.
She is survived by her children: James (Suzanne) McNamee of Littleton, Colorado, Peter (Patricia) McNamee of Helena, Montana, Linda (David) Roberts of Gardner, Colorado, and Paul (Barbara) McNamee of Littleton, Colorado. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren..
She is preceded in death by her husband A. James McNamee, son Michael McNamee, and grandson Jeffrey McNamee, son of Paul and Barbara McNamee, her parents Leon and Lena Cole, and all three of her siblings, Milford Cole, Sylvia Holloway, and Alice Blabaum,
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
