Barbara Ann Sheriff, age 64, passed away on Sept. 18, 2004, following a brief illness while a resident of B.S. W. Barsanti Home in Butte where she was affectionately known as "The Princess."
Barbara was the older of two children born to Raleigh and Anne Sheriff in Helena on Sept. 30, 1939.
At the age of 9 she moved to Boulder River School and Hospital. She then relocated to Eastmont in Glendive and most recently resided in Butte.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; uncle, Tony Niklas, of Helena; aunt and uncle, Bertha and Archie Williamson of Olympia, Wash. She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Sheriff, of Dillon; aunt, Charlotte Niklas of Helena; cousins, Dave (Colleen) Niklas of Helena, Gary (Marilyn) Niklas of Seeley Lake and Robert (Betty) Williamson of Olympia.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 1 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery .
The family suggests memorials be made to the donor's choice. Services have been entrusted to Hagler-Anderson Funeral Home.
