Governor's Awards for Excellence in Performance were presented to 267 state employees from across Montana during a banquet Monday afternoon in Helena.
“It’s a great honor to recognize the employees who work each day to make this state a better place to live, work, and raise a family,” Gov. Bullock said in a press release. “Our employees are hardworking and dedicated to providing invaluable public service that impacts the lives of Montana citizens daily.”

Started in 1990 by Gov. Stan Stevens, the Governor's Awards honor exceptional state employees for their service to the public and implementation of ideas that make government more efficient and effective.
