  • At 10:03 a.m., an officer responded to the 30 block of Last Chance Gulch for a report of a theft. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 12:09 p.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of Last Chance Gulch for a report of an individual at that location who had a warrant for their arrest. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 62-year-old male was placed under arrest for a District Court warrant.
  • At 1:16 p.m., an officer responded to the 3100 block of Montana Avenue for a report of a theft. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 53-year-old female was cited for theft and released.
  • At 2:28 p.m., an officer responded to the 1100 block of 6th Avenue for a report of a theft of a license plate. The case is active.
  • At 2:52 p.m., an officer spoke with a complainant concerning a trespass to and a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred approximately two weeks prior. The case is active.
  • At 4:22 p.m., an officer spoke with a complainant concerning a theft. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 7:13 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Prospect for a report of a theft that had occurred earlier. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 11:40 p.m., an officer responded to the 3200 block of Highway 12 to speak with an individual. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 32-year-old female was placed under arrest for a Justice Court warrant.

In the last 24 hours, officers responded to 68 calls for service which included nine accidents, six theft/frauds, eight welfare checks, seven suspicious circumstances and two warrants.

As of Wednesday morning, the county jail held 101 inmates (92 for felonies and nine for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 130 inmates at various detention facilities. One-hundred-two clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 51 are on Personal Breath Test, 32 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, 10 are on GPS and nine are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 299 clients.
