  • At 4:59 p.m., an officer responded to the 3200 block of Dredge for a welfare check on an individual. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 51-year-old male was placed under arrest for first offense partner/family member assault.

  • At 6:47 p.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of Rodney for a report of criminal mischief to a building that occurred a few days prior. The case is active.
  • At 6:48 p.m., an officer responded to the 3300 block of Montana for a report of a trespass to and a theft from a motor vehicle. The case is active.
  • At 7:16 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Cruse and Lawrence. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 29-year-old male was cited for possession of dangerous drugs (misdemeanor), possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor), revoked driver’s license, and first offense no proof of insurance.

  • At 11:34 p.m., an officer responded to the 500 block of Last Chance for a report of a theft. There is suspect information and the case is active.

In the last 24 hours, officers responded to 75 calls for service that included seven theft calls, five family disturbances/domestic problems, 12 accidents, nine welfare checks, and five suspicious circumstance.

In the last week, officers responded to 581 calls for service that included 63 accidents, 42 theft/fraud calls, 15 family disturbance/domestic problems, 47 suspicious circumstances/individuals, 52 welfare checks, 19 trespass, four assaults, and 10 disturbances.

As of Friday morning, the county jail held 102 inmates (92 for felonies and 10 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 128 inmates at various detention facilities. 102 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 51 are on Personal Breath Test, 32 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, 10 are on GPS, and nine are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 273 clients.
