A trailer home near Hauser Lake was destroyed in a fire after a reported explosion Tuesday night.
Two neighbors called in a house explosion just before 8 p.m. in the 4800 block of Deal Lane northeast of Helena, said Capt. Alan Hughes of the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff's Office.
A man who came running out of the house was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released, Hughes said.
"He got out and didn't look too terribly bad," he said.
The home is a total loss, Hughes said, and emergency workers were using a backhoe to rip it apart to get to the flames. No other buildings were affected.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
