Lewis and Clark County will begin road reconstruction efforts Monday on Colorado Gulch west of Helena.
For the first part of the project, existing asphalt will be removed from the road. After that, a stabilization fabric, structural fill, base gravel and new asphalt will be installed on the road.

According to county officials, the work will begin approximately 300 feet from the road's intersection with Highway 12 and span one-fourth of a mile.
County officials are expecting the project to take approximately 15 days and are asking the public to obey all signage and flaggers.
