  • At 11:22 a.m., an officer investigated a reported shoplifting in the 1400 block of Cedar.
  • At 2:50 p.m., an officer responded to a reported theft in the 1200 block of N. Montana.
  • At 4:07 p.m., an officer investigated a burglary that occurred in the 1300 block of Warehouse.
  • At 7:04 p.m., officers investigated a partner family member assault that occurred in the 1800 block of Billings. At the conclusion of the incident, a 27-year-old male from Helena was cited for PFMA and released.
  • At 9:04 p.m., officers responded to a reported family disturbance in the 600 block of Legend Loop.

  • At 1:52 a.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Prospect for a report of an intoxicated female refusing to leave. At the conclusion of the incident. a 39-year-old female from Helena was cited for PFMA and released at the hospital.

On Nov. 6, the Helena Police Department responded to 97 calls for service, including seven abandoned vehicles, seven vehicle crashes, 14 extra patrol requests, four false alarms, seven disturbances, four thefts and three welfare checks.

As of Wednesday morning, the county jail held 98 inmates (94 for felonies and four for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 117 inmates at various detention facilities. One-hundred-twenty-three clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. Of these, 47 are on Personal Breath Test, 51 are on Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet, 16 are on GPS, and nine are on house arrest. Pretrial Services is currently working with 218 clients.
